Course overview

After completing this course, you will be able to:

  • Explain what cognitive load is and recognise common causes of overload when studying alongside work.
  • Apply practical strategies to reduce unhelpful cognitive load and make study time more focused and effective.

The course comprises one module and a quiz. After you have completed these two components, you will be able to download your certificate of completion. 

The course is online so you will need access to an internet-enabled device. The material is responsive and will display well on most devices.

You have 24 weeks to complete the course; however, it shouldn’t take you more than 20 minutes to do so.
