This course provides practical ideas for implementation of the requirements of Domain IV, Managing the Internal Audit Function.

This course provides practical ideas for implementation of the requirements of Domain IV, Managing the Internal Audit Function.

It is likely to be of interest to chief audit executives and anyone involved in the management of an internal audit function.

Whilst the course makes reference to the responsibilities of chief audit executives, it is acknowledged that these responsibilities may be delegated to other suitably qualified professionals. The overview of Domain IV makes it clear that where this is the case, the chief audit executive still retains ultimate accountability.

You are expected to already have a basic knowledge of the Principles and Standards within Domain IV and may find it useful to have a copy of these handy when working through the material.

There is a quiz at the end of the course which is also based on the assumption that delegates will have knowledge of the contents of Domain IV in addition to the material within this course.

You have 24 weeks to complete the course; however, it shouldn’t take you more than one and a half hours to do so.
