Maria was appointed Group Director of Internal Audit for Flutter in June 2024. Prior to this, Maria was Group Head of Internal Audit in AIB from 2020-2024 and held a number of leadership roles across AIB Group’s second and third line of defence. Maria also served as AIB’s Group Chief Compliance officer from 2016-2020.

Prior to Maria’s role in Compliance, Maria spent 10 years in Group Internal Audit. In her role as Strategic Head of Audit, she co-led the function. Maria provided oversight of all key GIA activities, including development and delivery of the audit plan as well as delivery of the audit opinion, issue management and relationship management.

Maria holds a Bachelor of Business Studies with French from Trinity College Dublin and is a fellow of Chartered Accountants Ireland (FCA).

Mark is Head of Audit at the Skipton Group. He has extensive risk, control, and advisory experience from working in the regulated financial services industry in the UK and North America.

Rob is an Internal Audit specialist and lead Director for financial services external quality assessments. He also leads the Future of Internal Audit proposition for KPMG.

Zoltan is the Group Head of Internal Audit at the N Brown Group, a top 10 UK clothing and footwear digital retailer. Zoltan is also the leader of N Brown’s Accessibility Community, as part of their Diversity & Inclusion strategy. He previously held Head of Audit and senior audit roles in financial service companies such as Lowell Group, International Personal Finance plc. and GE Capital across Europe and Asia.
