Gain practical insights on maintaining relevance, strengthening governance and positioning internal audit as a strategic partner in organisational resilience and value creation.
About this event
The governance, risk, and assurance landscape is being fundamentally reshaped. Boards and Audit Committees are facing unprecedented expectations to oversee AI, cybersecurity resilience, sustainability, data governance, geopolitical uncertainty, operational resilience, and organizational transformation, often simultaneously. At the same time, the traditional boundaries between risk management, compliance, internal control, resilience, security, legal and internal audit are becoming increasingly blurred.
For internal auditors, the challenge is no longer simply providing assurance over control. The challenge is determining how assurance functions can remain relevant, independent, and impactful when organizations need integrated insight and foresight across interconnected risks.
This thought-provoking webinar examines how governance models are evolving, why siloed approaches to risk and assurance are becoming unsustainable, and how internal audit can lead the shift towards a more integrated assurance ecosystem. Drawing on emerging trends, the Global Internal Audit Standards, Three Lines principles, combined assurance concepts, and developments in AI-enabled risk oversight, attendees will be challenged to rethink what assurance should look like by 2030
The session will move beyond assurance and ask a more strategic question: If internal audit continues to operate as it did in the past, will it remain relevant in the future?
Participants will leave with practical ideas and strategic insights to help position their functions as trusted partners in organizational resilience, governance effectiveness, and value creation.
