Meet your 2026 Audit & Risk Awards host
Nina Hossain is an award‑winning journalist with nearly 30 years of broadcasting experience. She anchors the ITV Lunchtime News and News at Ten, having joined ITV from the BBC two decades ago. Her career has seen her present coverage of major news stories including the death and funeral of the Queen, the King’s Coronation, Royal Weddings and general elections.
Since 2015, Nina has presented every election overnight programme and fronted special programmes and podcasts on stories including terror attacks, Grenfell, the pandemic and the invasion of Ukraine. She has won two personal RTS awards, and three while fronting ITV Evening News and ITV News London. She particularly enjoyed covering the 2012 Olympics. Nina enjoys outside broadcasts, ‘in conversation’ events and hosting press conferences for major dramas including Broadchurch, Breathtaking and Litvinenko.
Born in Huddersfield, she is a Durham graduate, has three children and is autistic. Her professional passions are mental health and equality.
