Learning programme overview
The learning programme will run across 16 weeks with 7 tutor led virtual classes.
You will have access to external resources, including learning materials and quizzes.
Additional activities and quizzes will be provided by the Chartered IIA.
Tutor support throughout.
Learning programme structure
Week 1: Onboarding
During week one you will attend an induction class which include:
- Introduction to the tutor and other students.
- Obtain an understanding of the syllabus and exams.
- Tips on how to study and know what resources are available.
Weeks 2-14: Study and virtual classes
During weeks 2-14 you will study independently and attend the virtual classes:
- The syllabus sections have been grouped into study units that span between 3 and 6 weeks each.
- At the end of a study unit that spans 3 weeks you will attend a full-day virtual class. These classes will provide activities that allow a deeper understanding of the materials and revise areas already covered.
- Where a study unit exceeds 3 weeks, you will attend an additional 3-hour virtual class that will take place at key points of the programme.
Weeks 15-16: Revision
During the final two weeks, you will revise for the exam and attend a final full-day virtual class.
Notional hours of study
There are approximately 200 hours of study:
- 2 Hours onboarding
- 9-10 Hours independent study per week
- 38 Hours attending virtual classes
- 32 Hours preparing for the exam
- 2 Hours sitting the exam
