The CRMA is the only risk management assurance certification for internal auditors and specifically developed to provide the in-depth organisational knowledge and advanced skill sets that are required to provide effective risk management assurance to audit committees and executive management.

CRMA essentials
To enrol on the CRMA, you need to be a current member of the Chartered IIA.
The table below shows the entry requirements needed to register on the certification, as well as the exit requirements needed to claim the certification after successfully taking the exam.

Members are required to log 20 hours of CPE for the CRMA, of which two hours must be on ethics.
Members holding both the CIA and CRMA can use the same hours of training to satisfy the CPE requirements for both certifications.

Log on to CCMS, make sure your details are correct and click on Apply for Certification in Risk Management assurance. You will be required to pay the application fee and upload proof of identification. CCMS will guide you through the process.
