Meet the speakers

Seun Shittu-Balogun, Director at BlackRock, is an Audit Executive, responsible for all audit activities covering Data and Business Integrated Technology. Seun also leads the Internal Audit Data Analytics globally and technology audit activities for the EMEA & APAC region.  Prior roles to joining BlackRock in 2018, Seun was Vice President at Barclays Internal Audit in the Corporate, Retail and Digital business functions; senior auditor at AIG and learnt his audit trade at Deloitte after beginning his career as a software testing and implementation analyst.
 
Seun is Nigerian and moved to the UK 28 years ago to study - earned his BEng (Hons) in Chemical Engineering from the University of Nottingham, a Masters from both Imperial College of Science, Technology and Medicine and University of Reading. Seun is a committee member of the IIA Race and Ethnicity Community, passionate about how we navigate personal and professional growth in such a complex and diverse world. He is married with two kids.

Prabhmeet Singh has 25 years’ experience of working in corporate environments across a number of different financial services roles. He is currently a GB leader on mental health at WTW and is a trained Mindfulness & Meditation Teacher. Prabhmeet has a Masters’ in Transpersonal Psychology and is an internationally recognised Accredited Professional Coach, working 1-2-1 with individuals and leads wellbeing events. Prabhmeet brings a fresh perspective on understanding consciousness and human psychological development from a wisdom-based approach.

April is an experienced Internal Audit Manager at Barratt Redrow plc, where she leads on data analytics and automation to enhance assurance practices across the audit function. A qualified Chartered Accountant, April built a strong foundation in audit through five years at PwC, gaining diverse experience across a variety of industries.
 
At Barratt, April is also actively involved in ethnic minority and female development programmes - work she sees as especially critical in the construction industry. Beyond her role at Barratt Redrow, April is a committee member for the IIA Aspire community, which supports early-career internal auditors through networking and development opportunities. She is passionate about fostering inclusive environments and recognises the vital role mental health plays in helping individuals thrive both professionally and personally. April is a strong advocate for facilitating open, supportive team cultures, where people feel comfortable speaking up, seeking help and maintaining a healthy work-life balance.
Roza Watson is a seasoned audit expert with nearly two decades of navigating the complex world of audit, specifically in the financial services sector. As a Senior Audit Manager at Willis Towers Watson, she leverages a unique blend of industry and professional services experience to deliver strategic insights. Coming from a diverse background, having been born in Africa and coming to this country in her youth as an immigrant, she is an advocate of the power of difference. Roza is helping to shape the future of the audit profession as a Council member of the Chartered Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA) and co-chair of its Race and Ethnicity Community.
 
Roza’s passion for mental health comes from various angles. Having experienced living with family members who have faced mental health challenges and having supported colleagues through their own struggles, she has come to respect the profound impact mental health has on individuals and communities. Her commitment to mental health advocacy is driven by an understanding of the importance of mental well-being in both personal and professional spheres. Roza is dedicated to raising awareness about mental health, striving to create environments where people feel confident to share their experiences without embarrassment.
