As sustainability rapidly becomes a defining risk and opportunity for organisations, internal auditors are increasingly expected to play a pivotal role on ESG-related matters but what does this mean in practice?

Organised by the Aspire Community

As sustainability rapidly becomes a defining risk and opportunity for organisations, internal auditors are increasingly expected to play a pivotal role in assessing, advising, and assuring on ESG-related matters. But what does this mean in practice?

This event is designed to equip internal auditors, especially those new to the profession, with a practical understanding of sustainability. We will explore how sustainability risks are evolving and what auditors need to know to stay ahead. Featuring a diverse panel of speakers from the public sector, financial services, manufacturing, and distribution, the session will offer real-world insights into how different industries are embedding sustainability into their audit plans, risk frameworks, and organisational culture.
