Harriet is the Chief Executive of the Government Internal Audit Agency, which is the largest delivery agent of internal audit services to central government departments and their Arm’s Length Bodies. She is also Head of the Government Internal Audit Function, in which role she leads the professional support and development of all internal audit services across government.

Harriet joined the Civil Service in 2023 following 20 years at PwC: her career experience has been focused on public sector clients and includes leading high profile investigations and the provision of advisory services.

Harriet holds a degree in Accounting and Financial Management from the University of Sheffield and is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Scotland.

Sissel Heiberg has two decades of senior experience across major global financial institutions. She is a qualified accountant and holds Masters degrees in International Business Management and International Relations, along with professional qualifications including PMP and Certified Internal Auditor. 

In 2024, she transitioned from financial services to launch Foss & Bjørn, a sensory jewellery business, and published her book Quiet Leader with Pearson. 

The book stems from her research into why introverted leaders are often overlooked, exploring the science of introversion–extroversion and sharing insights from interviews with senior leaders. Her work aims to challenge assumptions about leadership, broaden the neurodiversity conversation, and help organisations recognise the strengths introverts bring to building high performing teams.

Dorota is a Multilingual Assurance and Risk Director with 15 years’ global experience across FTSE 100 group and multinational environments, with specific focus on manufacturing industry and prior Big 4 consultancy experience advising various executive committees and senior leaders. ACMA, CISA, PMP and engineering qualified, she has deep expertise in audit, governance and risk management.

Dorota has specialised in providing independent assurance over large-scale change and transformation programmes, most recently advising boards and senior executives on strategic risk. Managed transformation of internal audit departments, supported teams through periods of changes, transforming relationships between audit, risk and business functions to enhance agility and business partnering, and implementing innovative audit and advisory approaches.

Eilish is an audit and finance professional with over 25 years experience in financial
services and board leadership. She currently serves as Senior Independent Director
at the British Business Bank, the UK Government’s economic development bank,
where she also sits on the Audit, Governance and Remuneration Committees.
A former Head of Audit at Goldman Sachs, Eilish led global audit teams for over a
decade, working closely with the firms boards and executive committees to
strengthen assurance, insight, and trust in decision-making. Earlier in her career, she
worked with KPMG in both the UK and Australia across financial services audit and
consulting.

Eilish has held a range of non-executive and advisory roles, including at the
Financial Reporting Council, Sport England, and as a trustee of Plan International
UK, a girls rights charity.

She is an active advocate for better business through better leadership, and is the
founder of Helia - a strategic leadership and board development practice which
partners with boards, business leaders, and founders to enhance strategic clarity,
performance, and impact.

She is a chartered accountant, qualified executive coach, mentor at two leading
business schools and, last but certainly not least, mum to three teenagers.

Kelly Moses is a trustee of Charterpath, a charity that seeks to inspire more finance professionals to volunteer their time and skills, connect non-profits with diverse and expert volunteers with financial skills, and engage with the wider sector so that volunteering becomes part of every finance professional's career.

Alongside her role with Charterpath, Kelly is a Managing Director at HSBC, leading their Global Payment Solutions legal team, having previously led diverse legal teams at PayPal, Close Brothers, and Old Mutual Wealth Management. She trained at Linklaters LLP in London and a corporate firm in New Zealand.

Emily is a Chief of Staff to the Chief Internal Auditor for Barclays Bank Plc (including Investment Bank and Private Bank and Wealth Management), where her role centres on enabling clarity, alignment, and delivery across the function, ensuring we are focused on the right priorities and operating effectively as a team. Emily is also the Co-chair of the Working Families Employee Resource Group at Barclays where they are driving to create meaningful change, strengthen our community, and ensuring we continue to build an environment where people can balance successful careers alongside family life. 

She is someone who cares deeply about helping teams and leaders succeed. Emily is motivated by bringing structure to complexity, creating clarity where there is ambiguity, and ensuring good ideas translate into tangible outcomes. As Chief of Staff, her role is about enabling progress, connecting the right people, and helping things move forward in a meaningful way. Emily believes in being proactive, dependable, and solutions focused, and in building trusted relationships where people feel supported and able to do their best work. She also care strongly about people, creating environments where individuals feel valued, where standards are high but achievable, and where we enjoy working together as much as we are proud of what we deliver.

Faiza Ali is a London-based Internal Audit Partner and leads Deloitte ITIA capability nationally. She has been with Deloitte for over 25 years and started her career in external audit before transitioning to internal audit through a secondment at LBG. 

Aimee is a Managing Director with over 20 years of Audit and first line experience in the financial service industry. Aimee first joined Barclays and BIA in 2005 where she spent time in various teams, starting her career in Technology Audit and then moving to spend most of her time in the Commercial Bank team, before moving to lead first line oversight In the Global Payments function. Since then, Aimee has had several different leadership roles, firstly at Citi where she headed up Western Europe coverage before becoming Chief Auditor for Prime, Equities and Securities Services. At NatWest Aimee held the SMF5 as Chief Auditor for the Markets subsidiary, which was later extended to cover the whole non-ringfenced bank. In her last role she has spent time as Chief of Staff for the CEO of the Commercial and Institutional Franchise at NatWest. Aimee is a Chartered Accountant (ACCA), Certified Financial Services Auditor (IIA), and Certified Information Systems Auditor (ISACA).
