Aspire Community

Aspire is focused on inspiring and building the next generation of internal auditors. This community provides the knowledge, competence and expertise to support your career path. Aspire is designed for people early in their internal audit career regardless of age, but welcomes all. Led by Jon Darling, Head of Internal Audit for the University of Birmingham .

Women in Internal Audit (WIIA)

This community focuses on developing, promoting and empowering women in the internal audit profession, and seeks to support and encourage women throughout their internal audit careers. Led by Bonnie Dyson, Global Chief Operating Officer for HSBC. 

 

Internal Audit Race and Ethnicity Community

Our Internal Audit Race and Ethnicity Community is a positive space for anyone interested in promoting an inclusive working environment for internal auditors from a racially or ethnically diverse background. This group is led by Roza Watson and Cyndy Nkyi-Acheampong.

The Banking and Financial Services Sector Advisory Panel

BFSSAP is one of the Chartered IIA 's Advisory Panels. The panel provides their expertise on risks, challenges and innovation in the banking and financial sector. The panel has a steering committee of nominated members currently chaired by Sriram Padmanabhan, Chief Auditor, Citi Group.

Student Community

Did you know that we have a dedicated special interest group for students studying with us? It is open to all student members and offers drop-in sessions for students to discuss their studies, ask questions and share insights.

Data Analytics working group

Join this collaborative group dedicated to all aspects of data analytics and AI applications for internal auditors. The group shares experiences and members support each other in growing data analytics capability, as well as developing an understanding of AI.

Fraud forum

The forum seeks to develop the knowledge and skills of all internal auditors, whether involved in fraud investigations or in providing assurance over fraud risk management activities in their organisations. 

Change forum
