This course aims to support internal auditors to be aware of their cultural views and the implications these can have on their working relationships with others from different cultures. In addition, you will learn about what cultural competency and cultural humility are and their importance.
There are an infinite amount of cultures; therefore, it would be impossible to equip you with knowledge on them all and how best to interact with people who identify and belong to those cultures. Therefore, this course does not seek to teach you about specific cultures. Instead, this course teaches you a helpful mindset and approach to working with diverse groups of people.
We recommend that you do the Recognising and managing unconscious bias course before you do this one.
